Foothills Farm is partnering with
New Garden Community to build an alternative healing center at this location.

Property owners, Marla Cooley & Michael M. Melius, introduce
Jenalyn Crawford Stewart, who is leasing and managing FoothillsFarm tm at this time. She shares with us a divinely inspired, aligned vision to build community, from the ground up.
What do I mean to heal from the ground up?
Well, the United Nations, like about twenty years back, announced
that we only have about fifty years worth of soil left on Earth.
Soil, dear ones is where and how your food grows. Dirt is dirt, and empty of nutrition to provide in the making of food.
Soil contains nutrients. Soil lives. Soil thrives. In order to heal Earth, WE MUST HEAL OUR SOIL- that, is our first step to heal!
Sounds easy, sure. Just pour fertilizer on it! No! Please wait, that is what has been occurring.
It is time to dig down, go all the way to find the root cause. I believe this to be the process and long running operation of monocropping; that and all of it's ills which come with, are the root cause.
The monocropping process relies heavily on chemical use for both weed control and fertilizer. You have very likely heard the word glyohosate. Do you know that this has and is continuing to cause harm both to Earth and her inhabitants? I find it unacceptable to walk into any local hardware store and find it on their shelves. Shame.
The more of us who connect with others across the world providing wholesome, organic, locally sourced, NUTRICIOUS food are going to be the ones providing SOIL by way of our permaculture or regenerative practices in which we grow our food. Simply put, back to nature, and remedies come from nature. Nature never lies. Nature heals herself when provided the opportunity to do so, and, if you don't know it, learn it now, the human body holds the same capability.
On to our condition as homo sapiens ... in such a time which many are defining anew, the word despair. Though
New Garden Community & FoothillsFarm tm collaborating, we announce that we are shining a light in the darkness of the human condition:
Conditioning has clogged up our ability individually to man our own ship, so to speak. We've looked outside for help or, rescue, actually from the state and condition of "man," when in fact the answer lies within each of us. If you have not already, do your inner work and step up into the age of enlightenment! Look to your self and like minded community to navigate these tumultous days. We simply must alter our current course!
How?
The answer must remain simple. It is. Each one who reckons with this realization must seek out others who also have similar minds. We work together for real change, beginning with growing our own healthy food which will in turn, assist foremost in our body healing.
I have been studying herbology as of late, meaning that I am learning a lot about plants too. In the plant kingdom almost every plant has a look alike and many times it is toxic. Find that to be true of our human kingdom. We have good ideas moving about whilst there is likely an opposit concept close by. How do we as a common species, all one race, different genres or skin suits, come together?
My answer is simple:
We find like minded folks, growing their own food, crafting their own artisan products, sharing the load of work, thus naturally sharing the products of this labor performed together in love. As this is accomplished the children come along side learning how to work, grow food, sustain themselves through apprenticing and education through alternative options forthcoming.
There is much work to be done locally and virtually
to change course of our futures.
My goal in writing this blog today, looking across a fresh snow covered rejuvenating earth below me, in my mind's eye,
I see folks physically coming to FoothillsFarm tm to partake in a massive clean up, organize and plan of action to build a permanent food forrest to nourish and feed ourselves and others, many. I see like minded folks joining our team of counseling, educating, and healing modalities by choosing natural options,
connecting and offering the greater community answers, solutions, and healthy food to reclaim health. Each one. Every one. We have the capacity to do this.
In our efforts to move forward, we are reaching out to our extended community seaking like minded folks to join us in our collaborated efforts. We aspire to garden and create solutions together to begin a journey of health with feeding our bodies healthy food. We will build a healing center on this sacred ground. More, much more of that to come, as that's in it's infancy.
And, that further introduction will come from FoothillsFarm tm, manager and Shaman, Jenalyn Crawford Stewart.
At this stage of the journey, we have refurbished the grounds and allowed the earth below our feet at FoothillsFarm tm to heal. Watch the linked video to see what occurred, and why the farm looks like as it does today. We were patient and allowed nature to heal serious erosion caused by too many horses and, thus overgrazing.
